What do I do when I’ve lost something?

In principle, you don’t have to do anything. As soon as someone finds your item and scans the code, you will receive an email that your item has been found. That means no phone calls with customer service, not having to comb through databases full of found items and no need to post on Facebook (although we won’t stop you if you want to do that anyway).

Who can use TriqQR?

Everyone can use this service. Private individuals (singles, couples or families), associations or companies. The number of people using 1 account doesn’t matter. Per account, one email address can be registered to receive notifications when something has been found.

Is this service limited to one item?

No, there is no limit at all. With this service you can protect as many items as you like!

Do I have to register all my items?

No, there is no need to register any items. Your code is linked to your personal page and the code on your items automatically refers to this page.

Is this service connected to a carrier?

No, this service works with all forms of transport. It doesn’t matter whether you travel by car, plane, boat, bus, train, bike or foot. Your belongings are always protected.

Is this service limited to a country or continent?

No, this service is global. It doesn’t matter where you are traveling to or where you live. Neither does it matter whether your belongings are found around the corner or on the other side of the world. If your belongings are labeled with a sticker with a QR code, they can always be returned to you.

Can people see my personal details when scanning my code?

Absolutely not. Finders are not shown any personal details when scanning. When scanning a code, the “finder’s” form appears. The finder enters his name, email address and phone number along with what has been found and where. This form is then emailed to you via TriqQR. Your identity is only revealed once you decide to contact the finder. Up to that moment you remain anonymous.

What does TriqQR do with my details?

The personal details entered for an account will only be used to make sure that the service works properly. Personal details will never be made available to third parties.

How can I renew my account in order to continue the use of this service?

Approximately one month before your account expires you will receive an email asking whether you would like to renew your subscription.

What happens if I don’t renew my account or cancel my account and an item is found after that?

TriqQR will receive this notification and contact you.

Does the finder need to have an account too?

No, everyone with a QR scanner can scan your code. This app is available for free download for every smartphone. Or use the QR code scanner on Facebook.

How long does it take before I receive the stickers with my personal QR code?

If you create an account before 2.00 p.m. the stickers will be posted the same day.

What should I do if I don’t receive an email?

First check your spam box for TriqQR messages. Nothing there? Then please contact us.
